Fixed an issue with the header on mobile. The picture shouldn't appear anymore (which is normal). This is also a good occasion to mention that the forum is mobile friendly! You don't have to wait until you're home to read replies.

Fixed the permissions for the Saucy Sauce board. You won't have access to it without asking anymore.

Changed the board permissions so that accessing everything is less bothersome for everybody

Hid people's age, both in their profile and at the bottom of the forum index, as this is personal information that shouldn't have been displayed so broadly to begin with

Changed the way the titles and secondary titles appear in the post preview. It should reflect their appearance once it's posted now. Unfortunately I have yet to find how to make it happen in the editor when WYSIWYG is active too

Changed slightly how the profile next to posted messages appears so it's more aesthetically pleasing. Avatars should now be centered regardless of their size.

The "free form" RP board has opened here. There's already a template you can follow to post in the adequate LFRP section.

The RP boards for our common verse will be made soon. I'm giving you guys more time to participate in its creation here, but the thread will be locked around 1pm (East Coast) today.

For this reason, I've rearranged the boards in an attempt to keep Etheirys' length reasonable and promote the RP boards as well as weed out sections that were unnecessary.

The "Letters of the Producer" board is now under the Inn and renamed "Lodestone Of Our Own" with no additional boards within.
The "Lore" board is now a subsection of "The Guiding Hand"
The "Gameplay" section has become "Gameplay guides" and the boards within have been deleted since that much separation isn't needed on a forum not focused on gameplay.
If you're looking for the music thread, it's now located at the Inn.

I deleted the guidelines in "Lodestone Of Our Own" because you could actually open a thread in there, I just forgot to update the sticky post.

You were waiting for it and it's finally here! The shared verse RP boards are now open. You can make your own LFRP anytime and start roleplaying once it's done! The guidelines will give you more information about the time scale used, etc.

I've also added a thread where you can share your headcanons for this verse. Basically, if you've expanded the lore and are willing to let other RPers taking it into account in their own threads, you can post here to give us all the details!
For example: you created a new famous pirate crew in Limsa or a brand new oasis in Thanalan, etc.

You'll find new guidelines in the free form RP section board so the expectations are made clearer, especially to new roleplayers who might not know the etiquette.

New emotes! Thanks to @ainyan and @LilBittyMonster, we've got the FFXIV line stickers (Vol 1) and MichiOtakuStu (Twitter) proto emotes! That should definitely add more FF14 vibes to our posts o/

You can now draft your posts! When replying to a post, you now have three buttons under your reply in the editing window: "preview", "draft" and "send". Drafts are then accessible from your profile.

It doesn't work with quick replies, however, but you just need to hit "preview" and the button will be there waiting for you.

A new board has appeared! It's the headcanons forum, a sub-section of "The Guiding Hand" where you can talk about your version of the lore. If you have an extensive backstory for your character that touch some part of the canon verse and want to share it with us, you can!
